Inquiry question : Was it the right situations/conditions or Hitler's leadership ability that led to his rise in power in Germany by 1933?
The economic weaknesses are one of the main factors that lead to the rise of Hitler. The german economic became stable and recovered. Big industries thrived and grew under the Nazi government especially important industries that contributed to the rebuilding of Germany like oil,steel,coal and weapons. These industries were favoured by the nazi government. In return, the companies made compulsory donations to the Nazi Pary and the government. The Nazi's Party finance strengthened their power and influenced. With the help of Hitler leadership's skills of removing the treaty of Versailles, he gave hope to the germans by turning their poor country into a stable one because germans were facing hyperinflation and the that the germans were in desperate for change. Hence, making the economic weaknesses of the main factors why Hitler has rises in power in Germany by 1933.
Furthermore , another factor that makes Hitler rise in power is the political weakness of the Weimar government . The weaknesses are its proportional representation, coalition governments and Article 48 of the Weimar constitution.The other weaknesses are because of its weak support and the opposition from the Right and the Left.For the Left-wing opposition , they wanted more equality in society which were influenced by the Russian Bolsheviks. They were opposed to democracy and Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht led the communist Spartacist rebellion in berlin . President Ebert made an agreement with the army and the Frei Korps to put down the rebellion . For the Right -wing opposition , they felt that Germany should not be solely responsible for the World War 1 and disagreed with them. They wanted Germany's army and industry to be strong again , territorial expansion and a dictorial style of government . There were many extreme nationalists and called those who ratified the treaty the 'November Criminals'. They had also blamed politicians for not having the courage to continue the war . Therefore making it the best opportunity for Hitler to rise as a chancellor as he has the rights to overthrow the Weimar government because of its weaknesses.
Another main factor for the rise of Hitler is his leadership. He uses the exploitation of the fears of the communism. Hitler made use of the fears that people had towards communism to build support for is Nazi Party and made use of businessmen's money to run his campaign by printing his propaganda posters and films. This shows that he is good in manipulating the germans mind believing that Germany's the only way to save Germany, hence winning supports of many to what his doing. Furthermore, Most of the people feared that communism will take over the country and Hitler exploited the fears of communism to advance his own cause. The fears of communism are communism would take over Germany, farmers feared communism as the communist believed that state should own all lands and assets of the farms and the owners of big industries did felt threatened and Hitler exploited the fears that other industries would take over the smaller businesses and he gave farmers and businessman an uncertain promises that help will be given to them if he has the power and through the use of propaganda. Hence making a powerful and convincing speech and brainwash the germans people using his good leadership abilities.
Hitler was a powerful speaker who was very convincing and had great charisma, He knew how to gauge the mood of the audience and had incredible energy. He was able to sway the audience to see his point of view.Hitler was skillful at making deals with politicians. He was a good political strategist who is willing to wait for the right opportunity to take power gradually. Hilter also managed to recognise the Nazi Party that portrayed itself as a strong party which was militaristic and appealed to people's emotions.For example, the Germans were impressed with Hiter when he said that problem of unemployment would be solved.
Therefore I can evaluate from all these factors that Hitler rise due to Hitler's leadership ability of having the ability to manipulate the germans people easily with his powerful speech in order for him to win support which made alot of germans to believe in him more as what hes saying is what the peole actually wants. Making him rise.
